Surprising Amount Baby Reindeer’s ‘Real Martha’ Will Be Paid to Appear on Talk Show Tonight

-

The woman who is nicknamed the “real Martha” of Baby reindeer is set to face Piers Morgan this evening (May 9).

Viewers can’t get enough of Netflix’s number one show, which follows comedian Richard Gadd, who plays a fictionalized version of himself.

While working at the local pub, things take a sinister turn when he is stalked by a woman called Martha.

After watching all seven episodes, viewers predicted who they thought the “real life” characters were and were warned not to do so.

Baby reindeer Creator Gadd urged people not to speculate about who some people on the show were in real life, while some falsely accused one man of being Darrien, ultimately prompting police intervention.

Legal experts also warned of “significant legal and ethical implications” of fans trying to “track down” people from the show.

Amid all the speculation, the woman who has been dubbed the “real Martha” sat down with Morgan for an episode of Piers Morgan uncensored.

The celebrity interviewer tweeted a photo of himself and a woman named Fiona Harvey, saying she wanted to “set the record straight” and “have her say.”

How to watch the interview

The interview will be available this evening (May 9) on YouTube via the Piers Morgan uncensored account.

The show will air live at 8:00 p.m. in the UK and 3:00 p.m. ET in the US.

She felt ‘a bit used’ after the interview

She later told the Daily Record that Morgan had refused to accept her side of the story, saying: “Piers Morgan pushed hard on Gadd and the emails I supposedly sent.

“I have my own thoughts about it that I’d like to keep to myself, but I wouldn’t say I was happy. It was very quick to try to trip me. He did it at a fast pace to catch me off guard.

“Piers kept saying to me, ‘Are you sure you haven’t sent this guy 41,000 emails and phone calls?’ For a lot of the interview, for a good 10 minutes, he kept coming back to this.

“I said, ‘Look, even if I sent emails, that doesn’t mean I’m guilty of anything else. Like I said, to present something as a true story, it has to be pretty.’ it’s 100% true.

“It seemed like I was trapped. I feel a little used.”

How much will she be paid to appear in Piers Morgan Uncensored

Harvey claimed she was only paid £250 to appear on Morgan’s Talk show.

“Piers said everything went well. He talked about a practice match. He punched me a few times and I punched him a few more,” she added.

“He asked me if I liked Richard Gadd and I said you were joking.”

Baby reindeer versus fiction

While Richard Gadd claims Baby reindeer is based on a true story, many viewers are wondering which parts were fabricated for the Netflix show.

We have separated fact from fiction.

Gadd claims this is true and that his seemingly harmless act of kindness quickly turned into a shocking turn of events.

The number of emails

Gadd claims her stalker sent her 41,071 emails, 350 hours of voicemails, 744 tweets, 46 Facebook messages and 106 pages of letters over a four-and-a-half year period.

In real life, she also allegedly sent him various strange gifts, including a reindeer toy, sleeping pills, a wool hat and boxers.

sent from my Iphone

Netflix said that every email Donny receives in the series is real, and they all end with “sent from my iPhone” – despite the fact that she didn’t have an iPhone and didn’t send of emails from a.

When the police intervened

In the series, Donny was not taken seriously when he initially reported Martha to the police.

According to Gadd, it took six years before they finally intervened.

What details were fiction?

Gadd explained how some details of the series were changed to protect the identities of those involved.

He explained that “Martha” had been disguised to such an extent that he didn’t think she would “recognize herself.”

It’s also unclear if the real Martha went to prison. Fiona Harvey says she’s never been to prison.

In Baby reindeerMartha was sentenced to nine months in prison and a five-year banning order.

Although Gadd told the Times that the stalking problem had been “resolved,” adding that he “had mixed feelings about it” because he “didn’t want to throw someone in jail who was at this not mentally ill.”
