Bengaluru: Nandini, the milk brand of the Milk Federation, is set to make a significant foray into the US and European markets, leveraging its international presence through the upcoming T20 World Cup. KMF, a state-owned dairy cooperative that markets Nandini dairy products, will extend its sponsorship to two teams – Ireland and Cricket Scotland – at the mega-event which will take place in the United States and the West Indies from June 1-29. With this move, the federation is preparing to introduce two of its innovative products to the US market, further strengthening its global presence. “This is an opportunity to present our brand on the international stage. We have planned photoshoots with the players and in the week leading up to the tournament, we will launch engaging social media campaigns,” said MK Jagadish, Managing Director, KMF. The sponsored teams are expected to participate in four matches each, providing The Karnataka brand with unprecedented global exposure and recognition. Jagadish expressed his unwavering confidence in Nandini’s potential to further expand its pan-India presence. “Nandini has its own consumer segment. People trust our quality. A significant portion of our pan-India presence is attributed to Goodlife (Tetra-packaged tonic milk using ultra-high temperature process). We are exploring avenues of expansion,” Jagadish added. He said Nandini had already established a successful salon in Dubai and there were plans to launch two more outlets in West Asia – one in Sharjah and another in Abu Dhabi. “We want to expand our presence in and the United States by the end of next year,” Jagadish added.
