News Today: People across the country, including , prefer trains for traveling. The reason is that the ticket is safe, easy and affordable. However, due to the farmers’ movement in recent months, the Indian Railways has canceled many trains. Due to this, passengers traveling by train face many problems.

Due to the farmers’ movement, the only train connecting Jodhpur to is continuously cancelled. Due to this, travelers coming to Haridwar for religious or other reasons face many problems. Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took cognizance of passenger issues and resumption of canceled trains.

Union Minister Shekhawat spoke to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav over phone in this regard on Tuesday (May 14). He informed the general public about the problems faced by the people due to the cancellation of the train from Jodhpur to Haridwar and requested the Union Railway Minister to shift the train through an alternative route.

Train to Haridwar canceled for 25 days
Let us tell you that due to the farmers’ movement in , the only train from Jodhpur to Haridwar has been running to for the last 25 days. People from Jodhpur and surrounding areas travel to Haridwar to immerse the ashes of their loved ones in the only train to Haridwar. Common people are extremely unhappy with the cancellation of trains for 25 consecutive days. Ash bins began to proliferate in the ’s crematoriums.

Request to run the train on an alternative route
Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat informed Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav about the problem of not being able to immerse the ashes of relatives of common people in the Holy Ganga in Haridwar. Meanwhile, he demanded that the train to Haridwar should take alternative routes.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also spoke to DRM Jodhpur and gave necessary directions. He told DRM that there was more train traffic in , but considering the problems of passengers here, efforts should be made to pave the way for running the train from Jodhpur via Delhi.
