There is a Panch temple in Panch Mandir locality of Rasra tehsil of Ballia district. This famous archaeological site in Ballia was built around 200 years ago, in 1807 AD. The famous historian of Ballia, Dr. Shivkumar Singh Kaushikeya, said that it was built in 1870 AD by Gaura Kunwar, the wife of Ramphal Baranwal. Spectators come here from everywhere.

There is an archaeological site older than Sarnath at Devkali in the Sikandarpur region of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. It is a religious and archaeological site.
