The IMD has issued a yellow alert
There is no warning for today (May 9) in western areas of Uttar Pradesh, but the meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for eastern areas of UP . There is a possibility of thunder, lightning and thunderstorms with strong wind gusts (30 to 40 km/h) in some locations here today. Meanwhile, between May 10 and 13, a yellow alert was issued for western and eastern UP due to possibility of thunder, lightning and thundershowers with strong gusts wind (30 to 40 km/h). There may also be light rains across UP these days.
