Dilip Sinha, Dhanbad. Himachal Nouvelle qualification DGP : Dr Atul Verma, son of famous Dhanbad doctor Dr PN Verma, has been appointed as the new DGP of Himachal Pradesh. 1991 batch IPS Dr. Atul completed his primary education from Dinobli School, Digwadih (Dhanbad). After that, he studied MBBS. He became an IPS after completing his MBBS degree.
Dr. Atul’s father was a well-known doctor
His father, Dr. PN Verma, was a well-known doctor in the city. He passed away in 2019. Here, there is an atmosphere of happiness in his hometown Dhanbad on the announcement of Dr Atul’s appointment as DGP. His house is close to the DDC residence. Currently, no member of his family lives here.
His house is now in the hands of caretaker Rajesh Kumar Singh. The work of Dr PN Verma Foundation is carried out from this residence. Dr. Atul has three sisters. She now lives with her family in other states. Warden Rajesh Kumar Singh told Dainik Jagran that on Wednesday evening itself, Dr Atul’s elder sister Prof. Alka Verma called him and informed him about it.
Many HAIs in Dr. Atul’s family
He was delighted to hear the news of Dr Atul becoming DGP of Himachal Pradesh. Rajesh has been a member of this family for 24 years. There are many HAIs in Dr. Atul’s family. His brother-in-law IAS Amarjeet Sinha served as advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his retirement.
-His younger brother-in-law Talin Kumar is also an IAS officer. He is posted at the Home Ministry in Delhi. His elder brother-in-law was also an IAS. The elder brother-in-law’s son Ayush Sinha is also an IAS. He is currently posted in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. Both of Dr. Atul’s sisters are doctors.
